Who needs a follow-up?

72 participants are enrolled in the Journey. 12 have not started and 6 have Stuck status. Those give the leader two different questions to follow up on.

Example data for one Journey. Completion and results need to be read together — they measure different things.

An employee completes a spoken practice exercise in a store.

Read the measures correctly

A number needs context to be useful.

Progress: how far has someone got?

Distinguish between starting, being active, waiting for the next section and completing the Journey. Someone waiting for a scheduled unlock has not necessarily become stuck.

Attempts: what has someone tried?

Read attempts and results in context. More attempts can be part of learning, not a sign of limited ability.

Mastery Score: how did the practiced activities go?

This measure uses results from completed activities included in the calculation. It is not the same as completion rate or observed behavior in real customer interactions.

The leader decides what comes next

Follow up with a specific question.

  1. Set the scope

Choose the relevant Journey, department and time period. Check which participants and activities the numbers refer to.

  2. Look more closely

Explore differences in status, attempts and results. Review the details when an average does not explain what is happening.

  3. Choose an action

Follow up with the team, review a difficult exercise or plan more practice. Insights provides the information; you decide what the situation needs.

Common questions.

Clear answers.

Can we follow both teams and individuals?

Yes. Journey Insights includes organization, department and individual views. What a person can access depends on their permissions.

How is Mastery Score calculated?

For a participant in a Journey, it averages their best percentage scores from completed Roleplays, Coaching exercises and Flashcard sets with valid results. Flashcards use the participant’s self-assessment of what they knew. Episode listening and Challenges are not part of the current calculation. It is therefore not an independent assessment of all knowledge.

Does completed mean passed?

Not in every case. Completion means an activity is finished according to its setup. In an Assessment Journey, all required activities must meet their passing requirements for the entire Journey to be passed.

What does Stuck mean?

In Journey Insights, it means the most recent attempt on the current activity did not pass and at least three full days have elapsed since that attempt, using the company’s time zone. It is a signal to follow up, not an explanation of why someone is struggling to progress.

Are Studies included in the same report?

No. Studies uses AI-led Interviews and has its own qualitative report. Interview responses should not be mixed with practice progress or scores in Insights.

Does Insights automatically recommend the next activity?

No. Insights helps you see and review the information. The leader chooses the next action; the charts do not mean the system has automatically identified the cause or the right practice.
